JNLP Applications

• SiGML URL Player
  Plays a SiGML file from a given file: or http: URL.

• SiGML Service Player
  Plays a SiGML sequence delivered on a network socket, for example by the SiGML Client application (next item).

• SiGML Service Client
  Allows SiGML files to be input, edited, and sent to the Service Player application (previous item).

HTML Applets

• SiGML Player Applet (SPA)
  NB This version may fail with the most recent versions of the Java Runtime Environment. In that case the following alternative version should work.

• JNLP SPA (Java 6/Windows only)

How to Set Java Applet Runtime Parameters for OpenGL on Windows

This may be needed with older versions of Java:
Open the standard Java Control Panel, select the Java tab, and click the Java Applet Runtime Settings button. Then edit the Java Runtime Parameters field for the standard JRE so that it includes the following parameter definition, separated by a space character:

• -Dsun.java2d.noddraw=True
  (Avoid the use of DirectDraw if possible.)
